Democrat MJ Hegar Launches Senate Campaign Against Longtime Texas Sen. John Cornyn

WASHINGTON — Air Force veteran MJ Hegar of Round Rock on Tuesday announced a bid for the U.S. Senate, becoming the first major Democrat to launch a campaign in Texas against longtime GOP Sen.
