Dallas Turns to Former Royce West Aide to Represent City After Bathroom Bill, Pension, Property Tax Fights

Dallas officials are turning to a former aide to State Sen. Royce West to help the city in Austin after the state Legislature duked it out with major Texas cities this year.Clifford Sparks, who served as a budget advisor to West, will be the city's legislative director, meaning he will be on the front lines of the the state-cities conflict in the 2019 legislative session.  Continue reading...
