Dallas Startup Week Isn't Just for Entrepreneurs, Organizers Say

In a city that's home to nearly two dozen Fortune 500 companies, Dallas startups can sometimes get lost in the noise. But next week, entrepreneurs and their ventures will be front and center during a week of free workshops and networking events.Dallas Startup Week will kick off in downtown Dallas and other cities across the region. The five-day conference from April 2 to 6 is free and open to the public. Trey Bowles, co-founder and CEO of the Dallas Entrepreneur Center, said the week highlights the success of homegrown entrepreneurs and startups from other parts of the country.
