Dallas Exoneree Johnnie Lindsey Dies at 65 After Battle With Liver Cancer

Johnnie Lindsey, who served 26 years in prison for a crime he didn’t commit, died Friday after battling liver cancer.In his last days, Lindsey, 65, said he wanted to be remembered for two things: his music and helping others.There is no way to recall Lindsey’s life without thinking of his beautiful singing voice, how he learned to play piano after he was released from prison in 2008 and the time and money he spent helping others.  Continue reading...
