Dallas City Council Member Scott Griggs Picks Up a Big Endorsement for Mayoral Campaign

The Dallas Fire Fire Fighters Association has put its weight behind City Council member Scott Griggs in the upcoming Dallas mayoral election, breaking with recent tradition of making its endorsements alongside the Dallas Police Association.The association’s president, Jim McDade, said Griggs’ experience on public safety issues — he’s the only council member in the race — was the biggest factor in the endorsement.  Continue reading...
