Crowded Races for Dallas School Board as Incumbents Bow Out

Longtime Dallas schools trustee Lew Blackburn is not seeking reelection after nearly two decades on the board. That means he and another incumbent, Audrey Pinkerton, won't be returning to the board. It's the end of a voting alliance that often pitted Blackburn, Pinkerton and trustee Joyce Foreman against six other board members. Blackburn, 62, did not return messages seeking comment.
