Cousins Arrested in Fatal Shooting of Man at Fort Worth Club

Two cousins were booked into the Fort Worth jail Tuesday, accused in the fatal December shooting of a Fort Worth man.Bobby Lee Dow, 26, and Jamie Deshawn Harris, 27, were arrested on murder charges and remained in the Fort Worth jail Tuesday. Each man's bond was set at $250,000.They were arrested in connection with the death of 43-year-old Manuel Brown, who was shot at a club in Fort Worth Dec. 9.Brown was shot in the chest at Club New Start on Miller Avenue around 12:30 a.m., and died of his wounds at John Peter Smith Hospital.Dow and Harris admitted Harris had fired a gun out a car window as they left the club, but disagreed on what direction he had aimed, according to an arrest warrant affidavit obtained by the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
