Fort Worth police were investigating Thursday after two young children were accidentally shot by another child.Officers were notified around 10:45 a.m. after the children's grandmother took them to the emergency room at Cook Children's Medical Center. A 5-year-old boy had been shot in the chest and a 7-year-old girl had been shot in the arm, according to a police report.One of the children was in serious condition and the other was stable, police said, but they did not specify further.Authorities were investigating at a home in the 2100 block of Sanborn Street, near Beach Street and Interstate 30, where the shooting took place.According to police, a child found a shotgun in the home and accidentally shot the two other children with it.Police did not say whether any charges would be filed.
