As a Dallas ISD Dad, I Am Tired of the School Board Failing Our Kids

At the risk of turning this into yet another edition of Small-Town News, here's a (terrible, embarrassing) photo from my high-school yearbook: current Dallas ISD trustee Audrey Pinkerton, née Smith, and me, sometime before graduation in 1986. Our Thomas Jefferson classmates voted us "Most Dependable," not most talented or most respected or wittiest or most likely to succeed, just dependable.
