Amazon Delivery Drivers Accused of Stealing Dachshund From Parker County Family's Yard

Two Amazon delivery drivers are accused of stealing a dog from a Parker County home earlier this month. RJ the dachshund was roaming around the yard of his home outside Weatherford on July 5 when someone delivering a package scooped him up, said Anthony Phillips, the dog's owner. "So they stole my dog, delivered the package and then left," he told KXAS-TV (NBC5). Phillips asked around the neighborhood and found someone whose doorbell camera had recorded video of the two people. Parker County investigator Ethan Stark said an ad appeared on Craigslist that appeared to be for RJ. "There was no contact information, but we're pretty sure it was RJ that was for sale on Craigslist for $100," Stark told the Cleburne Times-Review. "The ad immediately changed once I contacted the suspect."Warrants were issued for Mycah Wade and Devanta Mooring. Wade, 22, was arrested and confessed, and the dog was returned to his family.
