Allen Man Arrested on Suspicion of Possessing Child Pornography After Authorities Find 58 Terabytes of Data

An Allen man was arrested early Tuesday on suspicion of possessing child pornography after authorities searching a residence found more than 58 terabytes of data believed to be related to the offense.Richard Denver Belden, 39, was taken to the Collin County Detention Center, where he was waiting to be arraigned on a charge of possession of child pornography.Authorities obtained a warrant to search a residence in the 1400 block of West McDermott Drive in Allen. There, they seized several electronic devices containing the data, according to the Collin County Sheriff's Office. The search warrant was executed at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday by the sheriff's Child Exploitation Unit and the Plano Police Department with assistance from Allen Police.   Continue reading...
