4 Arrested After Leading Police on Chase Into South Dallas in U-Haul Carrying Stolen Motorcycles

Four people are under arrest after leading Dallas police on a chase Thursday morning in a rented truck full of motorcycles believed to be stolen, officials said.The chase began just after 3:30 a.m. in northeast Dallas and ended around 4:30 a.m. on South Malcolm X Boulevard near Elsie Faye Heggins Street in South Dallas, police said.A search of the U-Haul turned up three motorcycles and a 4-wheeler that police believe were stolen from area dealerships, according to KTVT-TV (Channel 11). Dallas police and the Dallas County Sheriff's Department pursued the truck, while Garland and Mesquite police provided support but weren't part of the chase, officials said.The four suspects' names were not released.  Continue reading...
