Lupe Valdez has struggled to get traction in the Democratic primary for Texas governor.The former Dallas County sheriff's fundraising has been sluggish, resulting in a sparse campaign fund that hasn't allowed her to effectively reach voters. No campaign mailers, no television commercials and not enough volunteers to knock on doors in a supersized state.Her main opponent, Houston businessman Andrew White, hasn't had much reach either.
