3 Men Guilty of Sex Trafficking Crimes With Girls in North Texas

Three men were convicted for their roles in trafficking underage girls for sex in North Texas, federal officials said. The convictions last week of Pierre Lagrone, Demarcus "Zigg" Davis and Herman "Pooh" Sanders' came after a four-day trial, U.S. Attorney Erin Nealy Cox of the Northern District of Texas announced.According to evidence presented in trial, Lagrone and Davis were violent pimps who "recruited, controlled and profited" off the underage victims who they advertised for commercial sex acts, officials said. Lagrone and Davis kept almost all of the money the victims made and would provide only food, shelter and, occasionally, clothing to the underage girls, officials said.
