A Louisiana man who with his brother robbed and killed a pair of Dallas drug dealers was sentenced to life in prison Friday. Carl Russell, 23, and Patrick Russell, 25, conspired to rob Kenny Garcia, 21, and Tavares Tell, 32, before killing them on Sept. 5, 2013. Carl Russell was convicted of capital murder Friday and got an automatic sentence of life without parole. His brother was convicted in November and received the same sentence.A third suspect's case is pending.On the night of the shooting, Garcia and Tell were sitting inside a black Ford Focus at the San Mateo Forest Apartments in the 7100 block of San Mateo Boulevard.
