20-year-old Man Fatally Shot at His House in Fort Worth Suburb of River Oaks

Police are investigating the fatal shooting of a 20-year-old man near Fort Worth overnight as a homicide. The man has been identified as Carlos Pizarro, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner. Officers in the northwest Fort Worth suburb of River Oaks responded to a call for help about midnight Thursday in the 5100 block of Penrod Court, near Roberts Cut Off Road and River Oaks Boulevard. They found Pizarro dead from an apparent gunshot wound, River Oaks police Lt. Chuck Stewart said. No suspect information has been released.
