2 Shot at Mesquite Motel; Person of Interest Flees

Two people were shot at a Mesquite motel Thursday afternoon, police say.Officers responded to the Delux Inn in the 3800 block of U.S. Highway 80, near North Town East Boulevard, around 2 p.m.There was no word on the condition of the people who were shot, police told KXAS-TV (NBC5).Officers, who continue to investigate, said a person of interest had fled the scene.  Continue reading...
