2 Severed Heads of Women Found in Houston Area, Louisiana

Officials are working to determine whether severed heads found in Texas and Louisiana last month are linked. The two victims, both women about the same age with reddish or auburn hair and good teeth, were found in similar surroundings about three weeks apart, investigators told the Houston Chronicle. On March 24, volunteers spotted a suspicious black trash bag while picking up trash near FM1960 near Lake Houston in Huffman. They flagged marine patrol officers, who saw what appeared to be human hair in the bag and discovered the remains were in an advanced stage of decomposition, Houston police said. Two weeks before the bag was found, witnesses reported seeing a man get out of the passenger side of a truck and throw a black plastic bag off a bridge.   Continue reading...
