2 Men Fatally Struck by Tractor-trailer After Earlier Collision on I-35E in Red Oak

Two men involved in an Ellis County crash Friday morning died after they were hit by a passing tractor-trailer, authorities say.A motorcycle and a vehicle collided about 4 a.m. on southbound Interstate 35E just north of Red Oak Road, Red Oak police said.The driver of the vehicle stopped and went to check on the motorcyclist, who had been thrown onto the road during the crash. A tractor-trailer then came upon the scene and attempted to avoided crashing, but hit both men, police said.  Continue reading...
