2 Airlifted From Highland Village Shopping Center After Reportedly Suffering Burns

Two people were hospitalized after being burned at a Highland Village restaurant Wednesday afternoon.KTVT-TV (Channel 11) reports that they were burned at a tavern in the 1700 block of Shoal Creek.Highland Village police said they requested medical helicopters at the Shops at Highland Village because of a "medical emergency."Police tweeted about 4 p.m. that people should avoid the area.
