18-wheeler Crash Leaves Corn Scattered on Loop 820 in Fort Worth

A major roadway in Fort Worth was closed for the morning commute because a crash involving an 18-wheeler left corn -- the kernel kind -- scattered all over the lanes.About 2:45 p.m., Fort Worth police and fire found the 18-wheeler on its side in the 1100 block of West Loop 820 near White Settlement Road. It appears the driver was headed north before losing control and slamming into a wall, spilling corn all over the highway.The driver was not injured.Westbound Loop 820 remained close through sunrise as crews cleaned up.
