1 Killed North of Fort Worth Stockyards

One person has been killed north of the Fort Worth Stockyards Wednesday morning, police said. Officers responded to a shooting call just before 6:30 a.m. in the 3200 block of Terry Street, near East Long Avenue and U.S. Route 287, according to the department's active call log. Aside from confirming the homicide, detectives have not released any additional information, Fort Worth police spokesman Jimmy Pollozani said.The scene is less than two miles north of the Stockyards.   Continue reading...
