MULTIPLE PUPPET DISORDER: Jeff Dunham will have his hand up some zany characters this Sunday at the American Airlines Center. The famed ventriloquist and Dallas native brings his Identity Crisis tour along with his trunk full of puppets to his home town. Dunham’s puppet shtick features Walter (the grumpy war veteran), Peanut (the purple thing in desperate need of Zanex), Achmed (the dead terrorist), Jose Jalepeno (on a stick), Bubba J (the redneck), Melvin (the superhero guy), Sweet Daddy Dee (the pimp) and newcomer Diane. Dunham’s outspoken multiple personalities will be hitting the stage at 5 p.m. Tickets are $58.85.
SIBLING MUSICALITY: The DuPree family clan hailing from Tyler takes The Loft stage tonight under the surname Eisley. The indie-rock band comprised of siblings Sherri, Stacy, Chauntelle, Weston and cousin Garron endured a long battle with former label Warner Bros., but are now cozy with new their new fam at Equal Vision Records. As the band prepares for the much anticipated third album “The Valley” in 2011, they’re cruising the venue circuit reminding fans they haven’t lost their stuff despite the hiatus. Hear Eisley rock out with Ives The Band and Christie Dupree. Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.
BE OUR GUEST (ON ICE): Escape to far away land where once upon a time tales still exist and princess dreams come true. Thankfully, Disney has the whole fairy tale concept nailed from every possible angle. This weekend bring the whole family to Disney on Ice’s Princess Wishes - starring beloved Disney characters Jasmine, Ariel, Mulan, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty (Aurora), Belle and Cinderella along with their pals. The animated princesses will be flexing their figure-skating talent at the Allen Event Center beginning at 11:30 a.m. today until the final performance on Sunday at 5:30 p.m. Tickets run from $30 to $75.
