"South Park" wunderkinds Matt Stone and Trey Parker have signed on for another three seasons of their show on Comedy Central, meaning it will be around until 2016.

We may not know who who will run for president in 2016 — but whoever does, we know "South Park" will still have something to say about it.

Creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker are in for another three seasons on top of what was already planned, Comedy Central announced Wednesday.

That means the long-running animated sit-com will be running into 2016, its 20th season.

"Comedy Central has been our home for 15 years and we love working there," Parker and Stone said. "'South Park' is a blast, and we can’t wait to make more."

The news came just as the last show of this season, the 15th, was set to air Wednesday.

Until now, the future of the show beyond 2013 had been somewhat up in the air, what with the other projects — notably the smash hit Broadway show "The Book of Mormon," which swept this year's Tonys — creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker have undertaken recently.

Twenty years of a show whose trademark is potty humor crossed with crackpot social commentary? How old are those fourth-graders, anyway?
