Dallas Comedy House’s latest sketch revue, ‘Self Aware? I Hardly Know Her’ runs through Saturday, October 13, and features an all-female cast and crew.
The show takes a look at the people who just don’t get it: from the accident prone, to the overly confident, the chef who gives a little too much detail in describing a meal, to seat passengers on the plane who can’t be tamed. The show highlights the humor in the uncomfortable encounters that make us human.
Written and performed by the female comedy group One of US is Carol, the show features seven of Dallas’ brightest up-and-coming comedic performers. It is the directorial debut of Maggie Rieth Austin, local writer and producer whose work has been featured at the Women Texas Film Festival, Austin Sketch Fest, and the USA Film Festival to name a few.
