Derek Holland had a couple of really bad starts earlier this month, but since then, he's bounced back and reclaimed his hold on a starting rotation spot — if it was ever truly slipping away in the first place.

On Monday, Holland was pitching in his home state of Ohio and, like always, he was really good.

Holland gave up a lone run on six hits over six innings of work in the Rangers' 9-2 win to extend what has been a really great career within his home state lines.

Holland — a native of Newark, Ohio, which is about 100 miles from Progressive Field — hadn't pitched a game there in nearly four years. It was clear he was happy to be back.

He's now 3-0 in four career starts in Cleveland with a 1.22 ERA in 29⅓ innings, including a complete-game shutout.

If only he could pitch there 30 times a year...
