Witten, Dez Bryant Honored by the Sporting News

The Sporting News recently announced their All-Pro team, with Dallastight end Jason Witten, somewhat predictably, the only member of the Cowboys to make the cut. Witten finished the 2010 season with 94 catches for 1,002 yards and nine touchdowns, a career high.

It marks the second time that Witten has been named to the Sporting News’ All-Pro team.

Wide receiver Dez Bryant was also honored by TSN as a member of the publication’s all-rookie team, joining the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Mike Williams as the hypothetical squad’s receivers.

Bryant’s season ended in early December after suffering a fractured fibula, but managed 45 catches, 561 yards and six touchdowns in his rookie season all the same. He also had two punt returns for touchdowns.

Bryant finished fourth in the Sporting News’ rookie of the year voting.
