Coming off offseason shoulder surgery and the lingering pain of a hyperextended elbow suffered last season, Cowboys defensive end DeMarcus Ware says he will be a full participant when the team opens training camp in Oxnard, CA. next week.
"I'll be out there doing everything from all the drills to all the plays they want me to do," Ware said Tuesday, per ESPN Dallas. "I know how it's going to go, and it's going to go well."
Ware admits he’s not 100 percent yet, but is optimistic he’ll get there in short order.
"Just getting out on the field, banging around a little bit, knocking off the rust and maybe sacking the quarterback one time," Ware said. "That'll make myself feel good all over again."
