Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo will make his 2010 reality television debut on Tuesday evening, when he is featured on an episode of the Golf Channel's "Being John Daly."
As you may remember, Romo teamed with Daly in the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am just a week after the formerly corpulent linksman announced his retirement to reporters in the parking lot of Torrey Pines.
After this "parking lot meltdown," the episode's promo says, "John Daly finds out who is friends are at the next tournament."
Among them, apparently, are Bill Murray, Jon Gruden and Joe Pesci, who purportedly called Daly and delivered the sage advice: "You're an entertainer. Get out there and entertain." And, of course, there's Romo, who hit it off with Daly (pun very much intended) as his partner during the pro-am at Pebble Beach.
Being John Daly will air on Tuesday at 7 PM CST, on the Golf Channel. And frankly, we'll watch anything with Bill Murray.
