Arminta Jones, the mother of Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, died Tuesday morning in Dallas at the age of 90.

Jerry recently celebrated his mother's 90th birthday at Cowboys Stadium, along with his own 50th wedding anniversary and the 70th birthdays of both he and his wife Gene, according to a report by the Dallas Morning News.

She lived in Rogersville, Mo., and was born in Ozan, Ark.  She was married to Jerry's father, Pat Jones, for 56 years until he died at age 77 in 1997.

She's survived by her two children, Jerry and Jacque, a brother, two sisters, four grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

The team said Arminta Jones was "a great ambassador for our organization."
