It didn't take long for Dallas Cowboys owner/GM/NFL Executive of the Year to get back to his questionable ways on Tuesday at the Senior Bowl when he made the outlandish comment that Cowboys cornerback Mo Claiborne has done enough to warrant bring back despite a big salary hit it would cause.

Jones has until May 3 to make a decision on the embattled cornerback, who the Cowboys traded way up in the draft to pick 7th overall only to see him bomb in the biggest way. That decision would mean Claiborne would either be shown the door or have his fifth-year team option picked up. If that happens, it would also guarantee an estimated $11 million to Claiborne in 2016.

That would just be insane, but Jerry believes Claiborne has done enough to earn the fifth year.

"Yes," Jones told reporters in Mobile, Alabama. "Yes I do."

Claiborne was relegated to nickel corner duty this season before he ruptured his patellar tendon in the fourth game of the season and missed the remainder of the year.
