Jacksonville Billboard Jabs at the JerryTron

Jacksonville will debut the largest video boards in the world this season

The Jacksonville Jaguars are pretty happy about their new video boards and they’re letting Jerry Jones, among others, know all about it.

Beginning this season, the handful of fans who attend Jaguars games will be treated to the largest video boards in the world. They’re 362 feet wide, 60 feet tall, and they have two of them. Which could be good, if they use them to show games not involving the Jaguars.

Anyway, the Jaguars are so proud of their new additions that they erected a billboard recently, pointing out that their boards are bigger than the world famous JerryTron, and the Houston Texans’ video board, which also beats out the JerryTron in size and was unveiled last year.

The Jags’ billboard shows a comparison between the three boards and reads, “Not everything is bigger in Texas.”

No word on whether Jerry Jones knows about the billboard or if he plans on getting a newer, shinier video board in response. But we certainly wouldn’t put it past him.
