DeMarco Murray Not Looking Ahead

The Cowboys will play the Eagles just five days after their matchup with the Giants

As Richie Whitt wrote earlier, the Dallas Cowboys have to do all they can to focus on the Giants and only the Giants this week, and not pay any mind to the quick turnaround between that matchup and the Thanksgiving Day game against the Eagles, just five days after.

Running back DeMarco Murray doesn’t believe this will be a problem for the team.

It all goes to being mentally strong,” Murray said, per the Dallas Morning News. “We got to focus on the task at hand. The task is obviously the Giants. We’re not looking past those guys.”

According to Murray, this mental strength comes from the top, from head coach Jason Garrett.

“He expects people to handle themselves as professionals,” Murray said. “He expects us to work hard and know what we’re doing on and off the field. I definitely think that he’s pretty demanding.”
