Cowboys Send Three Scouts to Alabama's Pro Day

Dallas may be looking at Alabama guard Chance Warmack with their first round pick

The reigning National Champion University of Alabama Crimson Tide had their Pro Day on Wednesday, and while Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett was not in attendance, three Dallas scouts, including director of college and pro scouting Tom Ciskowski, made the trip to Tuscaloosa.

The obvious reason for the team’s interest is, in a word, Chance Warmack. The Tide guard is widely thought of as one of the best offensive linemen in a offensive lineman-rich draft, and he would provide an immediate upgrade to an interior offensive line in dire need of an upgrade.

What’s more, the experts seem to think Warmack and the Cowboys could be a match. Both Todd McShay and Mel Kiper, Jr., who combine to form ESPN’s two-headed monster of draft expertise, have Dallas landing Warmack with their No. 18 pick come April.
