We love They Might Be Giants, and are quickly training our spawn to enjoy songs like "Alphabet Lost and Found," "Number Two," and "Purple Toupee," to name-drop just a few.

This is important background information to note while we squeal with glee about TMBG's Halloween afternoon show at the House of Blues where costumes and encouraged and kids are welcome!

Picking up our jaws from the floor for a second, it's well-timed by starting at noon, allowing our little tykes to rock out before rolling out on their door-to-door adventures in Candyland. Tickets are $22 in advance, with a 4-pack deal for $68 and are on sale starting Friday, Oct. 2, at 10 a.m.
