    It's time to celebrate Cinco de Mayo!

    Get your tortillas ready, it's almost time to celebrate Cinco de Mayo.

    Here's a list of festivals and celebrations happening in DFW.

    Dallas County
    Cinco de Mayo Dallas 2012
    600 W. Jefferson Blvd
    When: May 5, 2012 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
    A festival with performances food and more. There will also be a parade starting at 11 a.m.

    Cinco de Mayo Festival
    Civic Center 12400 Elam Road
    Balch Springs, TX 75180
    When: May 5, 2012 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
    This festival promises to have performers, demonstrations and more activities for the whole family.

    When: May 3 2012. multiple shows
    Anita N Martinez Ballet Folklorico presents "La Gran Fiesta Mexicana."

    Cinco de Mayo Festival
    Latino Cultural Center

    Dallas TX 75204
    When: May 5, 2012 7 p.m.
    Anita N Martinez Ballet Folklorico presents "La Gran Fiesta Mexicana." Tickets are $5 to $20 and will be sold the day of the show at the LCC.

    Tarrant County
    Cinco de Mayo Fiesta

    Fort Worth, TX 76115
    When: Sunday May 6, 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
    A celebration for the whole family, with live music and traditional merchandise at over 200 stores.

    2012 Cinco de Mayo Multicultural Festival
    Senter Park Recreation Center
    900 S. Senter Rd.
    Irving, TX 75061
    When: May 5, 2012 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
    This event will have music, dancers and more entertainment. However, this festival is also about health, with free blood pressure screening and glucose and cholesterol testing. Participants can receive on site results and referrals.

    Collin County
    Celina Cinco de Mayo Celebration
    Celina Downtown Historic Square
    Celina TX 75009
    When: May 5, 2012 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.
    This celebration will feature contests, games, traditional dancing and much more. All proceeds from the event will go toward a scholarship fund.

    Celebracion del Cinco de Mayo
    Fairview Farms Corral Barn

    Plano, TX 75074
    When: May 4, 2012 7 p.m. to midnight
    This is a celebrations that also benefits the Collin County League of United Latin American Citizen scholarship  fund. There will be live music, food and a give away. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door.

    Multiple Locations
    Cinco de Mattito's
    Where: Dallas, Las Colinas and Frisco
    When: May 5, 2012 starting at 2 p.m.
    Head to Mattito's for mariachis, mechanical bull rides and more. Try your hand at Third Annual Bob Armstrong Queso Eating Contest; if you want to sign up to eat as much cheese, taco meat, guacamole and sour cream as you can in five minutes, call any of Mattio's four locations.

    Waxahachie Cinco de Mayo Fiesta
    114 E.  Franklin St.
    Waxahachie, TX 75165
    When: May 4 6 p.m. to 11p.m.
    The first day of a two day fiesta will be a street dance.

    Waxahachie Cinco de Mayo Fiesta
    200 N. Rogers St.
    Waxahachie, TX 75165
    When: May 5, 2012 11a.m. to 8 p.m.
    The second day of a two day fiesta, there will be a hot sauce contest, zumba and more.
