Part of the last three USA women’s Olympic basketball teams, Tamika Catchings has been instrumental in the team’s three consecutive gold medals. Born in New Jersey, but raised in Texas, Catchings is an NCAA champion, WNBA champion and a 10-time WNBA All-Star. One of the most decorated players in the WNBA, the six-foot-one forward was the 2002 WNBA Rookie of the Year, 2011 WNBA MVP, 2012 WNBA Finals MVP and is a five-time WNBA Defensive Player of the Year. Catchings was named one of the top 15 players of the WNBA’s first fifteen years.
