Jason Garrett Not Worried About Contract Status

Jason Garrett is in the final year of his current deal with Dallas

Like owner Jerry Jones, Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett isn’t interested in discussing his contract status.

After leading the Cowboys to three consecutive 8-8 finishes in three full seasons as head coach, Garrett has the team looking surprisingly good through seven games, at 6-1. Their next test comes in the form of a Monday night game with the Washington Redskins, and that’s where Garrett is putting all his focus.

“I just know where I need to focus, where our team needs to focus and it needs to focus on playing our best football,” Garrett said, per ESPN Dallas. “The way we do that is we focus on being our best today, do a great job evaluating that game, get ready for the players coming in, let’s go to work.

“That’s really what I think about.”
