Report: Perry Spends Little Time in Office

Report shows few visits, meetings on Perry's schedule

A new report shows the Texas Governor is not spending much time on the job here in the state.

The Dallas Morning News reports that since returning to Austin, Gov. Rick Perry went to his office just three times in the first 16 days.

Perry never stayed longer than three hours at the office in any of those times, according to the report.

During the time covered in the report, the Governor's schedule showed no state business.

Gov. Perry's office insists his calendar does not accurately reflect his duties.
