Authorities said a 16-year-old neighbor saved a man from a burning Carrollton home early Thursday morning. [[360375201,C]]
Carrollton firefighters said the fire started at the single-story home in the 1300 block of Rosemon Avenue at about 1 a.m.
The neighbor helped the man in his 30s escape the fire and then left the scene. Firefighters said the victim's father was able to make it out of house on his own.
Firefighters said the victim was transported to Parkland Memorial Hospital. His condition is not yet known.
Authorities said the cause is still under investigation.
