A survey of 1,470 Dallas businesses found 62 percent either very satisfied or satisfied with the city's overall business climate. The rest were neutral, dissatisfied or unsure.
The survey by the ETC Institute was conducted for the City of Dallas in 2015 including at least 100 responses from all 14 City Council districts.
Businesses in all portions of the city were satisfied except in North Oak Cliff west of Interstate 35E Thornton Freeway where the businesses were neutral on the business climate.
Most businesses said they would locate in Dallas if starting over again, would recommend Dallas as a business location to others and that they believe the climate will remain the same or improve over the next two years.
The Dallas City Council will discuss the survey at a retreat Tuesday.
