Dallas police said they arrested one person after shots were fired at Police officers early Friday morning.[[297770481,C]]
Officers were checking out Concrete Construction in the 10700 block of CF Hawn Freeway at about 2:40 a.m., police said. As the officers looked around the property, someone began shooting at them.
Police said the officers took cover behind their squad cars and told the shooter to surrender, but did not open fire. The man then came out with his hands up, police said.
Police are not releasing the man’s name, but say he’s a security guard hired by the business in the aftermath of the burglary. Investigators are now questioning him. No charges have been filed at this time.
No injuries were reported.
