Forget your coins or bills? The Salvation Army will test credit card donations this holiday season.

Instead of fishing for change, you can now use plastic to donate to the Salvation Army's Red Kettle campaign.

The Salvation Army says about a dozen cashless kettles will be set up in different parts of the metroplex.

Instead of fishing for change you can just swipe your debit or credit card.

Two of the kettles will be set up in Plano over the weekend outside the Fry's Electronics store at Plano Parkway and in front of the Walmart on West Park Boulevard and the Dallas North Tollway.

Or you can host your own  red kettle drive on line and raise money for the Salvation Army.
