Controversial meetings planned for this weekend in North Texas and around the world have been canceled.
A group calling itself "Return of Kings" had planned secret meetings in Denton and Dallas on Saturday.
The group advocates male dominance over women and was condemned earlier Wednesday by Texas Gov. Greg Abbott and Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings.
The group's leader canceled the events Wednesday, saying he could no longer guarantee the safety or privacy of the men who attend.
