Police: Woman Damages Husband's Vehicle During Football Game

Bexar County authorities arrested a woman who they said set her estranged husband's vehicle on fire during a football game before turning herself in.

The San Antonio Express-News reported that the 36-year-old woman admitted to slashing her husband's tires, pouring gasoline on the vehicle and igniting it with a cigarette lighter during Saturday's football game at Southside High School.

The woman told a Bexar County arson investigator she suffered burns to both of her arms and face.

The husband told police he was at the high school with his new girlfriend, watching his stepson play football.

The suspect faces an arson charge. She told authorities she wanted her husband to feel the pain that she is going through.
