Arlington police officers are asking for your help in figuring out who shot a convenience store clerk during a robbery late Saturday night and Schepps Dairy is adding in some financial incentive.

Prem Sharma, 54, was discovered lying dead on the floor by a customer around 10 p.m. Saturday at the Shell gas station is in the 4500 block of South Bowen Road.

Officers were able to pull the store surveillance video which shows a man in his 40’s wearing a Dallas Cowboys shirt and a white baseball cap walking into the store and pointing a gun at Sharma.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Homicide Detective Ben Lopez at 817 459-5373, or Crime Stoppers at (817) 469-TIPS (8477).  All tipsters remain anonymous and are eligible for a reward up to $1,000, Arlington police said.  Schepps Dairy has added $10,000 to that total for information leading to the arrest and indictment of a suspect.

This is the 5th homicide in Arlington this year, according to statistics provided by the department.
