Plane From Dallas Crashes in New Mexico

Two people on board killed, FAA says

A small plane that took off from Dallas crashed along a highway in New Mexico on Monday, killing both people on board.

The plane, known as a Radial Rocket, left Dallas Executive Airport en route to Mesa, Ariz., said Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Lynn Lunsford.

The plane crashed about 2:30 p.m. along Interstate 25 near Socorro, N.M..

The identities of the pilot and passenger were not immediately released.
