Palin Hits Town Tonight

Ex-governor headlines conservative-fest

Structural engineers might need to straighten out the Majestic Theatre after tonight’s wingding.

The building will list to the right … hard … during an evening with Sarah Palin, Rick Perry, Greg Abbot, Tom Leppert, and Stephen Broden — with special guest star Mark Davis serving as master of ceremonies.

The right-wing assemblage — which puts Gordie Howe, Mike Bossy, Brett Hull, and Maurice Richard to shame — gathers in the name of pro-lifers during the event sponsored by Heroic Media, a faith-based nonprofit group that sends out anti-abortion messages via television, Internet, and billboard advertisements.

The conserva-fab takes place at 7 p.m. tonight at the theater — could we please settle on a spelling of theater/theatre once and for all? — and tickets will set back the faithful by $50 for general admission or $100 for the even-more-faithful.

Palin brings her message of … um … of … oh, right, her unwed teenage daughter gave birth, so, yeah, that fits in with Heroic Media thing.

Y’all enjoy the show.
