A North Texan could be a finalist for what's being called the best job in the world.

Jessica Rector answered last month's call for a high-paying six-month job to live on an island along the Great Barrier Reef. If she wins, she'll get $100,000 to stay in an Oceanfront Mansion and take care of the island.

This is the link to Rector's Vlog, where she makes her pitch for why she is the best candidate for the job.

On Monday, she finds out if she's one of the 50 semifinalists.
