About 2,609 pounds of fully cooked, ready-to-eat smoked turkey breast products sold by New Braunfels Smokehouse of New Braunfels, Texas, has been recalled because they may be contaminated with the bacterium Listeria monocytogenes.
The organism can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, or people with weakened immune systems.
